“Join the Madera County Alcohol and Drug Advisory Board”

The Madera County Alcohol and Drug Advisory County Board meets on the third Wednesday of each month from 12:00 noon to approximately 1:30 p.m. All meetings are open to the public and the current agenda is available on the Madera County website, www.madera-county.com/mentalhealth/ . The Board currently has one vacancy and is looking for residents who have an interest in public funded alcohol and drug treatment services in Madera. Board members are appointed by the Madera County Board of Supervisors. Among other things, the Board participates in the planning process, advises the County Behavioral Health Director and the Board of Supervisors on aspects of the County Alcohol and Drug Programs and reviews community needs, services, facilities and special programs.
