DRAFT DOCUMENT OF NEW City of Madera Sign Ordinance

We will provide all comments that we receive at the next Sign Ordinance Task Force meeting scheduled for March 6 at 1:30 p.m. at the Chamber Office located at 120 North E Street, Madera. Feel free to attend the meeting.

The Madera Chamber of Commerce is happy to provide our business owners, the current City of Madera Municipal Code regarding signs.

§ 10-6.01 PURPOSE.

This chapter is adopted in recognition of the important function of signs and of the need to safeguard and enhance the economic and aesthetic values of the city through the regulation of such factors as size, location, and illumination of signs, and thereby promote the public health, safety, and general welfare.
