LEADERSHIP MADERA 2005
 Participants in the Leadership Madera program have a unique opportunity to develop and enhance their leadership skills. Candidates for this program is open to all individuals who seek to contribute their skills, knowledge and expertise to the betterment of Madera and the surrounding area. Each session is designed to inform, educate, motivate and challenge participants. Each session also is developed with a diversity of creative learning methods. These classes have been designed by over 30 of Madera's top business people, educators, government officials and Leadership Madera alumni. Program includes a two-day orientation at Bass Lake with overnight accommodations, a two-day trip to Sacramento for the California Chamber of Commerce Spring Legislative Conference with overnight accommodations, followed by five-monthly sessions with topics including leadership values and skills training, presentations in government, education, agriculture, healthcare, economics, and more. Professionals that are experienced leaders in their respected fields will facilitate the monthly programs. Participants are only allowed one (1) excused absence to achieve their Certificate of Completion in the program. Monthly sessions begin at 7:30 a.m. and end at 4:00 p.m. with the exception of the two-day events. |
